Marc and I are in the process of selling our house in Green Lake. So far, so good. Just one more thing to take care of on the buyer’s inspection, but that should be finished this afternoon.

We’re moving to Wedgwood, which is just a couple of neighborhoods over from where we currently are. We’re going to rent for about a year and see what we want to do after that; get a condo, move out of state, who knows? The apartment is brand new construction and we’ll be the first to live there. It’ll be nice as we’re doing the whole downsizing thing. Our current house is just too big and over the years, it just seemed to get bigger.

In the meantime, this past month has been extremely busy. We donated several things to Goodwill, sold some larger items on Craigslist, cleaned, moved items to storage and so on. We have the keys to the new place and have moved a few things over, but the big move is scheduled for this Friday. We have movers coming then, but it shouldn’t take too long as our house is mostly cleared out.
